FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT. Approximately 1 hour which includes ongoing discussion, plan changes, support and research on how to maintain your plan long term.

If you are feeling tired a lot of the time or waking up unrefreshed, some simple changes can make all the difference. For instance, improving sleep quality through self care measures such as night lighting, a bed time routine to help you unwind and learning how to 'switch off' from the outside world is key. Learning to care for our own needs does not always come easy in our society but is essential if we want good health. Just including 15 minutes a day 'downtime' whether it's deep breathing, meditation, yoga or walking can reduce our stress levels significantly.

A healthy gut is the basis of a strong immune system. I immunity is said to starts in the gut because if our microbiome is out of balance (more bad bacteria than good) then we are likely to have symptoms or other illnesses associated with impaired gut function. I can look at issues such as leaky gut, colitis and irritable bowel syndrome to help improve inflammation and pain. Gut issues can be associated with food sensitivities, autoimmune conditions or toxic overload and are best looked at from a holistic point of view.
